Kearns Improvement District required owners of rental property to sign up for water and sewer service and put the account in their name. Tenants are not allowed to put the account in their name. If your property is in your current tenant’s name, it will be allowed to remain in their name. However, in order to have service at the property when, or if, your current tenant moved and/or closes their account, you as the owner will need to sign up for service. To sign up you will need to complete an application for service by clicking here. If you would like, you may come into our office and fill an application for service. You will need to have picture identification and $30.00 ($25.00 deposit and $5.00 service fee). Sign up hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
